275th Anniversary Celebration News

If You Missed Any Wooden Nickels During the 275th Anniversary Events The Wooden Nickels, with five different designs (Worship, Music, Outreach, Heritage and Fellowship,) were handed out at last year’s Anniversary events; if you missed any of the nickels, you can obtain them from $1.00 donation per nickel from the church office.

Plan Ahead–Mark Your Calendar! Sun., May 21, 2017, 1:30 p.m. – “A Spring Afternoon Cemetery Walking Tour” will be led by historian Joshua Arthur Fink. We will meet in the sanctuary and then proceed out onto the cemetery. The program will last approximately an hour and half and will end with refreshments in the chapel. Please wear comfortable shoes.

Collect Your Wooden Nickels at the 275th Anniversary Events:  Wooden Nickels with five different design/themes are being handed out at the Anniversary Events: Worship, Music, Outreach, Heritage and Fellowship. They can only be obtained at the Anniversary Events. If you missed the first time each nickel was handed out, there will still be one more opportunity to get that nickel. Check the calendar of events and be sure to collect all five.

Commemorative Merchandise:  To purchase any of the following items, please contact Linda Held in the church office (610-797-4242) or see a member of the committee.  Items are also usually available for sale at anniversary events.  All proceeds benefit the 275th Anniversary Celebration. 

275th Anniversary Logo T-Shirts and Sweatshirts - White T-Shirts, Grey Sweatshirts and Grey Hoodies with the 275th Anniversary Year Logo will continue to be available for purchase as a commemorative item for the Anniversary Year.  Anniversary Logo T-Shirts are $12.00, Sweatshirts are $20.00 and Hooded Sweatshirts are $25.00.

"The Gospel in Stained Glass" - this is a beautiful picture book of the stained glass windows of Jerusalem Western Salisbury, depicting scenes from the life of Jesus accompanied by relevant Scripture.   The cost is $32.00.

275th Anniversary Pewter Christmas Ornament - A new pewter ornament designed for the 275th Anniversary is available for $15. It features the front façade of the church, with the Anniversary logo and information about the church on the back. The ornament comes in a velvet black bag with a draw string.

275th Anniversary Replica series - this drawing of the old log cabin church was done in the 1980s by Walter Chapman.  We have received permission to use it for the first in a series of wooden replicas depicting the church buildings. The cost is $15.00.
